Reflect: In the church, we believe that certain things are “sacred;” things like worship styles maybe, or the way we organize our ministry and life of service. Change is often hard, why do you suppose that is?
Reflect: It’s been said that the Church is the only organization in the world that exists primarily for the benefit of its non-members. What do you think that means and why do you think it is?
Reflect: The problem with the Weak in Rome is that they couldn’t imagine anyone following Jesus without adhering to the religious practices they had inherited. What happens when we as the church refuse to change in order to make room for new people who believe in the same Jesus we do, but want to practice their faith a bit differently?
Reflect: What’s one thing you can take away from the message this week and apply to your life?
