Crosspoint Students: Mission Northwest
Mission Northwest is a local mission trip servicing nonprofit organizations and neighborhoods in Northwest Florida. This trip is for upcoming 7-12 grade students, June 25-June 30 at the Northwest Florida Fairgrounds. Please note that the drop off location has been changed to the Northwest Florida Fairgrounds. Cost is $270, Deadline to register is June 19.

Who were your favorite TV or comic book heroes as a child?
Read Colossians 1:1-2. Who is this letter from and who is it to? Are the people in Colosse believers or unbelievers in Christ? How do you know this? Even though Paul has not visited the people of Colosse (see v. 2:1), he is attracted to them. Why? What types of people are you attracted to when you enter a new church group?
Read Colossians 1:3-14.
What does Paul say are the products of hope? Why must hope exist first? When did you first come to know the hope offered through Christ in the Gospel?
What is the word of truth? What relation does the word of truth have to grace? What truth about grace do you see in verses 12-14? What does Paul say is bearing fruit and growing all over the world? What do you think he means by that?
How does Paul’s prayer in vv. 9-11 compare with what he thanks God for in vv. 12-14?
According to Paul, how do you have a life worthy of the Lord (vv. 9-10)? What does a life worthy of the Lord by pleasing him in every way look like (vv. 10-11)? What are the results to you when you live a life worthy of the Lord (vv. 11-12)?
