(KJV) “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus”

“Mind/attitude” = phroneo: “to Think, decide, set one’s mind, frame of mind, to intend.”

THE EXAMPLE

A SELFLESS MINDSET
“Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus, who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped” Philippians 2:5-6

(v.4) Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others

A SERVANT’S MINDSET
…but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.Philippians 2:7

(v.17) But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.

(v.30) …because he almost died for the work of Christ, risking his life to make up for the help you could not give me.

A GLORIFYING MINDSET
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11
