SCRIPTURE – Philippians 4:6 (LB) "Don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything, tell God your needs…"
1. PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING.
(Philippians 4:6; Matthew 6:11)

SCRIPTURE – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition … present your requests to God…”(Philippians 4:6)"This is how you should pray, Give us today our daily bread." (Matthew 6:11)
Ask for God’s ASSISTANCE. "Give us..."
Remember God’s RESOURCES. "...our daily bread..."
1. Worry forgets God has unlimited RESOURCES at His disposal. "Give us today, our daily bread."
2. There is nothing to worry about if God is FIRST in our life. (Matthew 6:32,33)
SCRIPTURE – "Don't worry at all about having enough food or clothing. Your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them and He will give them to you if you give Him first place in your life."
Trust God’s TIMING. "Give us today our daily bread.”
2. BE THANKFUL IN EVERYTHING.
(Philippians 4:6)

SCRIPTURE – “…in everything with prayer and petition, with thanksgiving…”
Thanksgiving reminds us of past blessings and builds our FAITH for future blessings.
Thanksgiving helps us develop an ATTITUDE of gratitude.

SCRIPTURE – "Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
3. FIND THE POSITIVE IN EVERYTHING.
(Philippians 4:8)

SCRIPTURE – “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.”
Focusing on the positive requires learning to speak POSITIVELY and breaking the habit of complaining. (Ephesians 4:29)
SCRIPTURE – "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
Focusing on the positive means understanding it is not what happens TO me that matters, but what happens IN me.
4. LET GOD'S PEACE GUARD YOUR HEART IN EVERY SITUATION. (Philippians 4:7)
SCRIPTURE – “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
God’s peace is not based on our circumstances, it is based on our TRUST.
When we EXPERIENCE God’s peace, two things happen:
1. Circumstances won’t BOTHER you anymore.
2. You become more GENEROUS.
