This is the warning to the church that is known for operating in an oppressive spirit:

Empowerment

There will be an authority and empowerment given by the world and man, but it’ll never match the authority that’ll be given by the EMPOWERMENT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT!

We are called to walk in the empowerment of heaven, to bring heaven to earth, to prepare earth for heaven to come! Or to prepare the earth for Jesus’ return... PREPARE THE WAY, MAKE STRAIGHT THE PATH OF THE LORD!!
The Empowerment of the Holy Spirit Will Reform You in 3 Ways:
1. How you see and think (scales fell off his eyes)

Practically: Ask God what areas you aren’t seeing how God sees, ask God what beliefs you carry and if they’re God’s truths or the mans’ opinions, ask God this morning if your beliefs are causing you to bring freedom and empowerment to others, or oppressing others? What is the fruit that comes from how you see?
- How we SEE must be how God SEES! Which means a lot of our emotions/opinions have to continually be submitted to the altar of heaven!

2. How you live (he was immediately baptized, made a public declaration, his name was also changed from Saul to Paul, Paul meaning small, humble)
Practically: Have you given God every area of your life, or are you still entertaining other spirits/influences in your life? Are you still lying, cheating, manipulating, prideful, looking at pornography, having sex outside of marriage, addicted to substances, oppressing others around you? What things in your life have you not shut down, and you’re trying to operate in the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, but the weekly choices you’re making are actually empowering other demonic forces?
- Humble yourself, repent to those you’ve hurt around you and make a public declaration that the old is going, shed light on the dark areas in your life!
- Share with others what God is doing in your life! Tell others how God has changed the ways you see things! Allow accountability!
Practically: Have you given God every area of your life, or are you still entertaining other spirits/influences in your life? - Sometimes there needs to be some SILENCE AND BLINDNESS so that God can deal with the inner issues of our heart before He can call us to be His voice!
- When we submit to the VOICE of God, our VOICES are empowered by Him!
Practically:
- What things has God already asked you to do that you haven’t done? Pray over someone in public, share a word of encouragement with someone, repent to your wife or husband or friend or child?
- OBEY what the Lord is saying to you because He will continue to speak to you! As He continues to speak to you and you respond in obedience, YOU STRENGTHEN or become more and more empowered by the Holy Spirit, and as you speak and do what He tells you to do, you become the hands and feet of God on earth filled with POWER!
- Sometimes there needs to be some SILENCE AND BLINDNESS so that God can deal with the inner issues of our heart before He can call us to be His voice!

Demonic presences will war for your flesh to strengthen it so that the Holy Spirit is denied power in your life.
When we give power to other spirits that make our flesh feel good, we are turning away the Holy Spirit from access, from empowering us.
