Have You Met Pastor Tim Yet?
Pastor Tim was born in Central City, Nebraska, so he’s a cornhusker for sure but his favorite team is now is the Foundation Lions. He went to Dickinson State College in Dickinson, North Dakota, intending to be a medical missionary for God. He graduated with a double major BA degree in Chemistry and Biology BUT GOD had a different ministry for him. He graduated from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1979 with a Master of Religious Education degree.
For 30 years he has brought focus into the lives of others. Graduating from college with a double major in Chemistry and Biology explains his analytical approach and a Masters Degree in Education explains his ability to help others make the necessary connections for success. He and Carol were married on September 4, 1976. Carol, an educational expert in her own right, is the Director of Education at Foundation Academy.
They have five children: Joshua, an attorney; John, Director of Technology at Foundation Academy; James, a high school teacher; Joy, a Recreation Supervisor at JW Marriott; and Faith, who is in college. His daughters-in-laws are Jamie, who is also an attorney and she and Joshua have three children, Aver, Jack and Alice; Sheena who is the owner of Dishie Rentals and she and James have a son, Levi; and Lindsey who is a realtor and Wedding Coordinator at Disney.
My salvation experience: I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 15 and immediately became involved in personal evangelism and street witnessing. I have spent my entire Christian life seeking to be involved in churches where evangelism was a priority. My true spiritual gift is Exhortation or Encouragement and I use this gift to motivate and challenge people to serve Christ. I am tender-hearted and easily emotional about Christ’s love and sacrifice for me. My desire for souls to come to Christ has changed my demeanor from shy to bold.

Thank you Pastor Tim and church family for your prayers, support, love, and encouragement during these past nine months as I have served as the City-Coordinator for last weekend's Beth Moore Living Proof Live Orlando. Our Core Team consisted of nine women, including the following women from our church:

These women worked alongside me and so beautifully served the women of our church, the Lord Jesus, our city and our state. I appreciate their hard work more than words can tell.
Also, thank you to all of you who wrote cards of encouragement, served at the conference, and to all of you who attended. I know God blessed you as you ... Experienced, Embraced, and Encountered the Living Savior, Jesus! We served over 5,000 women at the event, many of whom gave their life to Jesus!

Hosanna House (North Campus). LIFT is a discipleship class that shows women how to really know and love Jesus. We are instructed and inspired by great women who have walked before us.

Thousands of middle and high school students will gather together for four days of worship teaching, and community led by Louie Giglio, David Crowder and the Passion Band. Not to mention four fund days on the shores of Daytona Beach! Don't miss the best week of the summer...June 5 - 9th. For all current 6th through 12th grade students. Cost now $350. Register soon before the price goes up!
June 12-16 Vacation Bible School - 6:30 pm - 9 pm
This year's Vacation Bible School will turn our kids into Galactic Starveyors! As they focus their telescopes on the marvels painted in the sky by the Creator, they will discover the wonder among all wonders-that the God who created everything there is-the knowable and unknowable, the visible and the invisible-wants a personal relationship with them! Invite all the kids you know to come-they will hear about the God who is over the moon in love with them.
July 3 - 7 CentriKidCamp - CentriKid is a high-energy, intentional, gospel-centered camp for 3rd-6th graders. Their mission is to help kids experience the time of their lives while learning more about the message of Jesus Christ. This takes place through track time, rec, worship, Bible study, church group time, and a variety of other fun events. Be watching the bulletin for more information.

On May 21, we will celebrate and recognize all of our graduates! If you are completing high school, college, or post graduate studies, please email a photo of yourself to lhurlebaus@fbcwg.org to be printed in a special bulletin insert that Sunday. We need your photo no later than May 14.
TOUCHDOWN CLUB
Foundation Academy, our church's largest ministry, is in the process of building its own football field! You can help make that happen by purchasing one of the 100 yards of the field. Already 20 yards have been sold, so don't delay. You can buy a yard and join the Touchdown Club on your own, for your family, or for your business. Special recognition will go to the Touchdown Club members upon completion.
