You can take notes from the message here.
Group Questions and Personal Reflection
1. Historically the Church has often done a poor job showing love to people in the gay community. Christians have often moved in judgment and mockery. Where have you stood on this? Did you inherit a set of values that rejected homosexual people? Do you need to repent?
2. Think about the people in your life that are gay or struggle with same sex attraction. Spend some time praying for them.
3. “Love the sinner, hate the sin” has become a cliche phrase that gay people generally receive as a personal rejection. Language is critical in how we love and communicate. Make efforts to practically discover conversational language that would allow you to “speak the truth in love”.
4. A lying tongue and homosexuality are both described as an “abomination”. Are Christians guilty of placing particular sins into categories? Why do we do this?
5. Spend some time in prayer for the sexually broken at Community Church.
