#1. A Message of SALVATION
"Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
What is the "GOSPEL" - 3 CORE TRUTHS @ JESUS: 1.He is GOD; 2.He DIED; 3.He ROSE!!
Here the first angel is urging the people to turn to the LORD, to fear Him, glorify Him, and worship Him. In other words, to receive the SALVATION that is in Jesus Christ:
1 Tim 2:3-5 - "..God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.."
2 Pet 3:9 - "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."
John 3:16-19 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."

#2. A Message of CONDEMNATION
"And another angel followed, saying, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
Here, the second angel announces the CONDEMNATION of the world system "Babylon", is announced and explained that it is due to her spiritual fornication, or idolatry:
"...He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."
"Sin is choosing to do what I want without doing it in submission to God's will and plan." - Erwin Luther
Rom 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death.."
"Sin is the ruin and the misery of the soul. It is destructive in it's nature, and if God should leave it without restraint, nothing else would be needed to make the soul miserable." - J. Edwards
1 Sam 15:23 - "..rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry."
"Dare we make light of that which brings down the wrath of God?" - Matthew Henry
Gal 6:7-8 NLT - "Don’t be misled - you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature."

#3. A Message of ADMONITION
"Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus."
Here, the third angel announces a warning to the people of the Tribulation, ADMONISHING them to not receive the mark of the beast, and the wrath of God that it will bring upon them. There are many such WARNINGS in Scripture:
Eze 18:20 - “The soul who sins shall die...the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself."
Isa 66:22-24 - “For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the LORD,“So shall your descendants and your name remain. And it shall come to pass that from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the LORD. “And they shall go forth and look upon the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, and their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.” (Mark 9:42-48)
Rev 20:10-15 - "The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books...anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." #4. A Message of CONSOLATION
"Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”
Do YOU view death as a "BLESSING" in the Christian life?!? (Mk 12:27; Jn 11:25)
"It is strange that men will prepare for everything except death!" - Billy Graham
"Death, to a Christian, is the release from the imprisonment of this world, and his departure to the enjoyments of another!" - Matthew Henry
"Death may be the final destination in our earthly journey, but is is merely the tunnel that transports us to the very real world beyond!" - Swindoll
#1 - The REST it gives! - Ps.23:6 ; Ps.16:11 ; Mt 11:28
#2 - The REWARDS it brings! - 2Tim 4:7-8
2 Cor 5:1-11 - "For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, 3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. 4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. 6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men.." (1 Cor 3; Rev 4)
"Die empty and fully used up! Give the graveyard nothing but an empty carcass of a used up life, for Jesus Christ!" - Wayne Cordeiro
