Today's Message
__________________

It Begins With Jesus
- The disciples old life was without Jesus, so they failed to catch fish.
- Their new life was in Him so they would become fishers of men.

- You fail when you go back to the old life and try to do it all on your own.
- You succeed when you give it all to Jesus and live the life He has for you.

Do you love me?
- Agapeo: To welcome, be fond of and love dearly.

Do you love me?
- Phileo: To love, approve of, like. To treat affectionately or kindly. To welcome or befriend.

Feed and Tend My Sheep
- Feed my lambs: Jesus is instructing Peter to take care of new believers just like a shepherd takes care of lambs.

- Tend my sheep: poimaino- to feed, to shepherd a flock, to keep sheep. To furnish pasture for food and nourish.
.
- Tend my sheep: Jesus instructs Peter to shepherd his followers, watch over their growth by feeding them God’s Word.
.
- Feed my lambs: Jesus instructs Peter to lead His followers the same way Jesus did.

Restored and Renewed
- Luke 22:54-62
Peter denies Jesus 3x while sitting around a fire.

- John 21:9-19
Peter says he loves Jesus 3x after being asked by Jesus while sitting around a fire.

Jesus tells Peter to “Follow me.” Jesus has restored and renewed Peter to go and tell the world about Him.

Live the old life by denying and refusing.

Live a new life by loving Jesus and feeding His sheep.

If you follow Jesus, then you have been called by him to feed his lambs, shepherd his sheep and lead them. A new life in Jesus means a new path to walk.
