What is greatness according to the Word of God?
How do we define what is a great person biblically?
What are the real standards of greatness?
Can ever person born be truly great?
Psalms 139:13-18 WEB
13 For you formed my inmost being.You knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made Your works are wonderful.
My soul knows that very well. 15 My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth 16 Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum!
18 If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand.When I wake up, I am still with you.
If greatness was in your design before you were born, then all your greatness comes and goes back to the Creator.
The bibles say that the greater always blesses the lesser.
Hebrews 7:7 NASB
But without any dispute the lesser is blessed by the greater.
“I AM A CREATED BY GOD TO BE A ONE OF A KIND MASTERPIECE!”
THE EARTH HAD A NEED SO GOD CREATED ME TO BE A BLESSING AND FULFILL GOD’S PURPOSE WRITTEN ABOUT ME IN MY BOOK BEFORE I WAS BORN.

· SELF ESTEEM OR GOD ESTEEM
· SELF PROMOTION OR GOD PROMOTION
· SELF AMBITION OR AMBITION FOR GOD
SIN & SELF WILL TAKE YOU WHERE YOU DON’T WANT TO GO AND KEEP YOU LONGER THAN YOU WANT TO STAY & TAKES FROM YOU WHAT YOU DON’T WANT TO GIVE
GRACE & GOD WILL CARRY YOU TO A PLACE OF YOUR DREAMS AND CONTINUALLY RESOURCE TRUE GREATNESS IN ABUNDANCE
WHEN YOU STAND BEFORE GOD YOU BE JUDGED BEFORE HIS THRONE.
THIS JUDGEMENT OR ACCOUNT WILL NOT BE WHETHER YOU GO TO HEAVEN OR HELL IF YOU HAVE TRUSTED CHRIST ALONE FOR SALVATION.
YOUR NAME IS IN THE BOOK OF LIFE IF YOU ARE A BORN AGAIN CHILD OF GOD BOUGHT WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST LIVES IN YOU NOW!
EPHESIANS 2:4-9 NKJV
4 But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus; 8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, that no one would boast.
Salvation is not a reward for being good or doing good, it is a gift of Grace for those who like a child will simply believe and receive what Jesus has done.

For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
· WHEN YOU GET TO HEAVEN YOU WILL BE JUDGED BY HOW MUCH OF WHAT GOD PLANNED YOU ACTUALLY DID!
Revelation 20:12 ESV
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.
What is “true Greatness”?
According to the scriptures the greatest man that ever lived was Jesus Christ.
But what made Jesus greater than all the rest?
The greatness of Jesus has to do with His “Why” and His “What”
First Jesus understood that His “Why” had to be first to Please, Honor and Obey His Father.
Second Jesus understood that His “What” could only be done with complete and total trust and faith
If you have your “Why” directed first to and about you, then your “what “(what you do) will be done in your own strength and power.
The greatness you achieve on your own will always be limited and short lasted.
The greatness you receive from God will be forever.
The greatness of Jesus is found in this verse:
Hebrews 10:7 GW
7Then I said, 'I have come! (It is written about me in the scroll of the book.) I have come to do what you want, my God.'"
Jesus was the greatest because he did everything the Father had written about him in His book before Jesus even came to the earth.
Jesus was in Divine Alignment with His Divine Assignment
Jesus was a co-owner with the Father in position but his attitude and heart was of a steward and a servant.
Everything Jesus was and had was a gift of the Father’s goodness and love.
Jesus in response to that goodness and love served His Father as a faithful son.
We too are co-owners of everything the Father has because of Jesus.
We should respond the same way and serve as faithful sons & daughters.
The attitude of a steward and servant is:
What I am is by the grace of God so every thing I have received is a blessing that should be used to fulfill what is written in my book.
I am to be a good and faithful steward of the time God has given me here.
I am a good and faithful steward of the talents God has blessed me with
I am a good steward of the relationships God has granted.
I am a good steward of the financial resources.
I am a good steward of the influence God has given me.
As a son or daughter I am a co-owner but my attitude is that of a humble steward and servant and God can trust me.
I am a candidate for True Greatness for I want to be in Divine Alignment with my Divine Assignment and do what God has written about me in my book.
