1) The tree of life was not the tree of Salvation.

The 2nd tree in The Tale of Two Trees is the: Cross.

2 Cor. 5:21 (CEV) Christ never sinned! But God treated him as a sinner, so that Christ could make us acceptable to God.

2) Come to the Cross, the true tree of life, the tree of Salvation!

Gal 3:13 (NCV) Christ took away the curse the law put on us. He changed places with us and put himself under that curse…

Isaiah 53:5 (NCV) But he was wounded for the wrong we did; he was crushed for the evil we did. The punishment, which made us well, was given to him, and we are healed because of his wounds.

3) Don’t Just Believe it, you gotta Receive it!

A) Ask Jesus for the Forgiveness He paid for on the cross.

Rom 5:9 (NLT) And since we have been made right in God's sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God's judgment.

B) Ask Jesus for the Life He paid for on the cross.

John 3:16 (NLT) 16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

4) There is no Resurrection without a cross.

1 Cor. 1:18 (NCV) The teaching about the cross is foolishness to those who are being lost, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Luke 9:23 (TEV) And he said to them all, "If you want to come with me, you must forget yourself, take up your cross every day, and follow me.
