What's a Cave Praise
Easter is all about Jesus coming out of the cave of death. We all have to deal with "cave" experiences in our lives; times when we wonder if it will ever end or if we will ever get through the mess we are in. There is hope because of Easter. There is a praise that gets us out of the cave! On Easter Sunday we will have two worship services for you convenience at 8:45 and 10:30. Everyone is welcome to be a part of these two exciting and powerful services on Easter Sunday. See you all at Journey Life Center as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ!

One thing we know about caves is that long before suitable housing people have been living n them. They left pictures thousands of years old.
We don't live in caves anymore but many of us have felt like we were. Life gets messy, we get depressed, hurt and pain, loose jobs and spouses, issues from the past haunt us. These are cave experiences.
There are many cave experiences in scripture.
Moses complained his burden was too heavy. God placed him in a CLEFT of a rock (a place where it was split). There he saw His Glory!
Have you ever been stressed out?
Elijah was depressed and God showed him a cave and spoke to him in a still small voice.
Have you ever been depressed or discouraged?
David was running for his life and wound up in a huge cave complex called adulllum. Hundreds of those in debt, distressed, discontented (losers, vagrants, and misfits - island of misfit toys) joined him there. But those men became his generals and cabinet members (davids mighty men).
Have you ever been afraid or in trouble?
So what is the answer to cave dwelling? How do we come out?
Paul was in a "cave" with Silas. He praised his way out. A cave praise will break the foundations and open doors!
Jonah was in a "cave" when he disobeyed God. His natural GPS turned him toward Jerusalem. He praised God and landed safely.

Jesus spent three days in hell. He was willing to look bad for three days.
Peter is a great example of how God brings you out of a cave

It's hard to praise Him when you don't know the "why" only the "what." But the why is clear...all things work together.
When we are cold spiritually we always look for something to warm us
It was a bitter sifting for Peter. But Jesus turns the charcoal experience into a lesson. Praising Him means you love Him more than "these."!
