April 9th Announcements

April 11th: Senior Tuesday this week we have a special guest speaker, Larry Werson. He will be sharing his testimony, invite a friend; 10am in the Family Room.<br><br>April 11th: The Great Surprise, a Family “open house style” event from 6-8pm. Experience hands on fun with a variety of surprising activities to discover the life and love of Jesus! For more information email jodi@mvctk.com.<br><br>April 14th: Our Second Annual Good Friday Combo Service with Mount Vernon and Burlington Christ the King at Skagit Center, 7pm, doors open at 6:30pm.<br><br>April 23rd: Baptisms will be after the 11am service. Please fill out a Connection Card if you would like to be baptized or call the front office: 848-5116. <br><br>April 23 during the 9:30am service and for the following 2 Sundays: We will be having the SHAPE class for an abbreviated 3 weeks. Want to know how God has gifted you? Want to know how you can serve Him in a way that energizes you? Come learn about your Spiritual Gifts, Heart (passion), Abilities, Personality and Experiences and how they can work together so that you can be effective for the kingdom and honor God with who he has created you to be!<br><br>VBS Funding update: Our church family has given $4,457.50 in donations for VBS. We also received a $3,500 grant, for a total of $7,957.50. We are seeking to raise $10,000 for 250 kiddos during the week of VBS, $40 per child for the week.<br><br>CTK Youth are going to summer camp! In the back of the sanctuary, you will see thermometers with each students name, goal and where they are in fundraising to reach that goal. Whenever they receive monies, the thermometer is updated to show how much closer to the goal they are.Please consider donating to help these students go to camp.
