Critical Need: Volunteers are needed for Hillside Chapel’s lawn mowing. Each year, over $30K is saved annually by not outsourcing this essential task. If you can serve even on a limited basis, circle “L” on your C&C Card.

ADULT/FAMILY OPPORTUNITIES
IHNApril 2-8: Once again we have the privilege of helping those who find themselves in a difficult situation. By hosting (staying overnight at the facility) or providing or helping to provide a meal, we can bless others and be blessed ourselves! See the table in the lobby for more information.
Open Space: This Wednesday, April 5, we will gather together for a time of guided devotion and prayer between you and God in our Worship Center at 6:50pm. Open Space is open to everyone, if you know someone who wants to deepen their relationship with God, please invite them.
Hillside Women: This Thursday, April 6, Margaret is gathering a group of women to get together for a fun time of fellowship and lunch, 12pm, at Abuelo’s Mexican Food Embassy (2420 N. Fairfield Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45431). Email Margaret to RSVP.
Gentle Worship: Saturday, April 8 is our next Gentle Worship service at 5:30pm in the Worship Center. This is a great opportunity to come and worship with those from our community who have developmental disabilities. If you would like to volunteer,please arrive at 5pmto check in and get your nametag and smiley sticker.
Operation Christmas Child: It’s time to start collecting items again. Be on the lookout for bargain prices. Our biggest need is always small toys and stuffed animals that will fit in a shoebox. Donations can be placed in the bin in the main lobby.
Matthew 25 Ministry: Matthew 25 Ministry is recycling pill bottles to provide financial support for their work. Would you like to help? Donate all of your empty prescription, vitamin, supplement, and over-the-counter medicine bottles(any color of plastic bottles is accepted) in the bin located by the Mission Doors.
Feed the Creek: Help needy families by donating food to send home with children for the weekend. Items specifically needed: big boxes of cereal, spaghetti sauce, ramen noodles, small cans of veggies and fruits, snacks, 100% juice boxes, and oatmeal. Donated items can be left in the barrel by the lobby bulletin board.
Moms Praying Together: Join us on Sunday nights at5pm at Alpha Church (806 Alpha Rd., Alpha, OH) as we pray for our children and their schools.
Coffee & Conversations: The goal of this group is to provide an environment for women to gather and fellowship, share a meal, get to know others, explore your creative side and to have meaningful conversations. This is open to women of all ages. Kids are always welcome, we will have activities for them as well as a play room. We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 9:30-11:30am. Please join our facebook group (Coffee & Conversations) for current events and ladies nights out.

ALIEN YOUTH
Mid-Ohio Valley Work Camp (MOVWC): We’ll be serving at MOVWC this summer, June 18-23. MOVWC is a project organized to give middle school and high school students the opportunity to serve God by serving others who are in need by painting houses. You must complete all paperwork and pay a $40 registration fee by Wednesday, April 19.
Youth Bake Sale: We will be having a bake sale on Easter to raise funds to cover the cost of our summer mission trip, MOVWC.

SOLID ROCK KIDS
Kid inspired fun with classes, for kindergarten and younger in main building and grades 1-5 in the Life Center. Between 10:40–11:00am preschoolers enjoy play time while elementary kids hang out in the game room. Parents must present their child’s security tag at pick up time.
4th-8th Grade Event: Join us for pizza, laser tag at Laser Quest, and ice cream at Maggie Moo’s next Sunday, April 9, immediately after church. Pick up a permission form at the Life Center children’s check-in counter.
Co-Ed Soccer Clinic: If you have already signed up your child for today’s clinic please arrive at 1:45pm to pick up your t-shirt. Bring soccer ball and water bottles. Scrimmages will be late afternoon followed by skits and supper at 4:30pm. The event concludes at 5pm. Due to the popularity of this event we have closed registrations.
Sports & Drama Camp: June 12-16 from 9am-12:15pm for children ages 4-12. Register at $50 now. After April 30, $55. There is online registration with payment at a slight additional cost. Tracks to choose from are Team 45 (for 4&5 yr. olds), soccer, basketball, cheerleading, and drama for 6-11 year olds, and Ultimate Frisbee for ages 8-12. Size limits in T45 and drama.
Secret Keeper Girl Purple Party Tour: Moms, this is a fun and meaningful event to share with your 7-12 year old daughters on April 9 at Cedarville University. Visit the Pure Freedom website to purchase tickets.

The 4’s-K’s will learn how God provided a path for Joshua and the people to cross over the Jordan River. The 9:30am elementary children will learn that we must run from greed and work to live a life of generosity. The 11am elementary children will learn that when we share the story of what God has done that God’s supernatural power is involved.
Parent Videos and Help: As parents we want to instill within our children respect. But how do we do this? Visit Hillside’s website for this month’s elementary video. Tantrums are a part of the toddler-preschool years whether we like them or not. Watch this month’s preschool video for pointers on how to respond to them at www.hillsidecma.org.
