The apostle Paul was commissioned by Jesus to proclaim a good message of God's grace.
The word "gospel" means "a good message", and "grace" means "good will, loving kindness, benefit, gift, joy, unearned.
The word "gospel" means "a good message", and "grace" means "good will, loving kindness, benefit, gift, joy, unearned.
Paul was given the ministry to proclaim a good message of God's good will. Primarily in two ways:
1. That GOD has provided a way of salvation for sinners.
2. That HE has done this out of love, without requiring merit on the part of sinners.

We must be sure that we've heard the pure gospel message of grace and not a perverted gospel.
The Gospel of The Grace of God in Salvation as taught in the New Testament can be summarized under three headings:
1. THE "NEED"
A. The Bible describes our spiritual condition as everyone has sinned.
B. If you broke one commandment you broke them all.
C. The Consequences of Sin are Serious
D. Even morally good people need to be saved.
Let's consider the examples of the House of Israel, the man of Ethiopia, and Cornelius:
The House of Israel
Acts 2:36-39 NKJV

Christ- (gk-Christos) anointed, the Messiah.
Repent-(gk-metanoeo) to think differently, reconsider.
Baptized-(gk-baptizo) submerge, fully wet.
Remission-(gk-aphesis) freedom, pardon, deliverance, forgiveness, liberty.

The fact is, as sinners we cannot accomplish the removal of our guilt on our own. We cannot run away from this guilt, we cannot work our way out of this guilt. So don't be self-deceived by notions of your own goodness. We all have sinned and are in need of salvation!
