Communion Today

We will celebrate communion this morning. Please pick up the prepackaged elements at the entry point into the service. Communion consists of taking two symbols of Jesus’ death, bread and juice. The bread represents Jesus’ body and the juice His blood. By taking these two symbols, we remember what Jesus accomplished for us through the cross, and that He promised to return a second time. We invite all believers to join us in taking communion. If you are not yet a Christian, we are excited you are here and investigating the Christian message. You are welcome to stay for this part of the service.

Video Testimonies on Facebook

We have a great opportunity for you to share your faith via video testimony on Facebook. We are looking for volunteers to record their testimonies in a video format to be shared with your friends/family. One member of the congregation recently recorded his testimony and now has over 1900 views on Facebook! We would like to help you do this as well. If you are interested or have questions, please email missions@linworthroadchurch.com, or contact Dale Schuler at 614-746-3549 or Mike Faler at 614-507-6817.

Donation Receipts

We have been made aware of an incident at a neighboring church regarding stolen checks. Donation checks were stolen from their mailbox and cashed in another state. Our giving software has a default setting to email you a donation receipt the week your gift is received. If you have opted out of receiving this email, you may want to opt back in to ensure your donation was received by LRC. Please contact the office at office@linworthroadchurch.com if you have any questions.

Parent Connection

Parents! If you have a preschool, elementary, or 6th-12th grade student, we would like to introduce you to the Parent Connection--parenting tips from the Family Ministry at LRC. Currently, we are sending out a special COVID-19 Family Care Package, which will include six weeks of online resources to help you and your family. These short instructional videos address a variety of subjects dealing with raising children. If you are interested, send an email to Rich (richh@linworthroadchurch.com) with the ages of your children, so that you receive the appropriate material.
SONG LYRICS

'Tis So Sweet

'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word
Just to rest upon His promise,
Just to know, "Thus saith the Lord!"

Oh, how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood
And in simple faith to plunge me
'Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I've proved Him o'er and o'er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

I'm so glad I learned to trust Him,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend
And I know that He is with me,
Will be with me to the end.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I've proved Him o'er and o'er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

Your Glory

My life is Yours
My hope is in You only
And my heart You hold
'Cause You made this sinner holy
Holy holy

'Cause Your glory is so beautiful
I fall onto my knees in awe
And the heartbeat of my life
Is to worship in Your light
'Cause Your glory is so beautiful
'Cause Your glory is so beautiful

And my life is Yours
And my hope is in You only
And my heart You hold
'Cause You made this sinner holy
Holy holy

'Cause Your glory is so beautiful
I fall onto my knees in awe
And the heartbeat of my life
Is to worship in Your light
'Cause Your glory is so beautiful
'Cause Your glory is so beautiful

Glory glory
Hallelujah
Jesus You are good
[x3]

We sing
Glory glory
Hallelujah
Jesus You are good

'Cause Your glory is so beautiful
I fall onto my knees in awe
And the heartbeat of my life
Is to worship in Your light
'Cause Your glory is so beautiful
Your glory is so beautiful

O Praise The Name

I cast my mind to Calvary
Where Jesus bled and died for me
I see His wounds, His hands, His feet
My Saviour on that cursed tree

His body bound and drenched in tears
They laid Him down in Joseph's tomb
The entrance sealed by heavy stone
Messiah still and all alone

O praise the name of the Lord our God
O praise His name forevermore
For endless days we will sing Your praise
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God

And then on the third at break of dawn
The Son of heaven rose again
O trampled death where is your sting?
The angels roar for Christ the King

O praise the name of the Lord our God
O praise His name forevermore
For endless days we will sing Your praise
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God

He shall return in robes of white
The blazing sun shall pierce the night
And I will rise among the saints
My gaze transfixed on Jesus' face

O praise the name of the Lord our God
O praise His name forever more
For endless days we will sing Your praise
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God

Reckless Love

Before I spoke a word, You were singing over me
You have been so, so good to me
Before I took a breath, You breathed Your life in me
You have been so, so kind to me
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights 'til I'm found, leaves the ninety-nine
I couldn't earn it, and I don't deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah
When I was Your foe, still Your love fought for me
You have been so, so good to me
When I felt no worth, You paid it all for me
You have been so, so kind to me
And oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights 'til I'm found, leaves the ninety-nine
And I couldn't earn it, and I don't deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah
There's no shadow You won't light up
Mountain You won't climb up
Coming after me
There's no wall You won't kick down
Lie You won't tear down
Coming after me
There's no shadow You won't light up
Mountain You won't climb up
Coming after me
There's no wall You won't kick down
Lie You won't tear down
Coming after me
There's no shadow You won't light up
Mountain You won't climb up
Coming after me
There's no wall You won't kick down
Lie You won't tear down
Coming after me
There's no shadow You won't light up
Mountain You won't climb up
Coming after me
There's no wall You won't kick down
Lie You won't tear down
Coming after me
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights 'til I'm found, leaves the ninety-nine
And I couldn't earn it, I don't deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah

hey
