Community Covenant Church
What Is Our Structure? // Brandon Lemois
At our church, we help you follow Jesus - we just believe it doesn’t have to be complicated. Although discipleship can be challenging and hard at times, Jesus was remarkably simple. As the fullness of his body on earth, we want to be abundantly clear about who we are and how we function.

Ephesians 2.18-22
18 For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. 22 In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.
The Church’s structure is:
Jesus Centered (1 Peter 5.1-5)
Elder Governed (1 Timothy 3.1-7)
Staff Led (Ephesians 4.11-16)
Volunteer Operated (1 Peter 4.7-11)

The word "tithe" literally means tenth or 10%. Tithing, or giving ten percent of your income, isn't merely giving something to God. It's giving back what was his to begin with. All that we have, or hope to have, comes from him. The Bible says that we worship God with tithing as a reminder that God is the supplier of everything. It teaches us to always put God first in our lives.

We believe that Prayer is powerful and can change the world – not just for today but for generations to come. We believe that lives and whole communities are changed forever when we lift up our needs to God in prayer. Please let us know if there is something you would like us to pray for. (Please specify if this is a private request so it is not distributed on our church-wide e-prayer newsletter)<br>
