"Paraclete" was an ancient warrior’s term. Greek soldiers went into battle in pairs, so when the enemy attacked, they could draw together back-to-back, covering each other’s blind side. One’s battle partner was the "Paraclete."

The Holy Spirit is Your Surgeon
He uses His scalpel to cut out the sin, and replace your heart with His own. The sharp scalpel that He uses is the Bible! And it makes you eternally durable and dependable!

He plants the seed (the Scripture) in your heart, and then over the course of your life, continues to cultivate and grow that, and weed out anything that threatens the production of the harvest of that incredible fruit of the Spirit!

The Holy Spirit is Your Attorney
We've all sinned and fallen short of God's ideal, (Romans 3:23). So we need a defender to plead with the Judge on our behalf. The "Accuser" continually will remind you of your past mistakes, but you become eternally durable and dependable as you listen to your Attorney instead of the Accuser!

The Holy Spirit is Your Scout
He goes before you and prepares the hearts of the people that you have influence on! You're not alone! Your "Paraclete" has your back! He makes the path of life ready for you so that you are eternally durable and dependable! You are tough because of the sanctification of the Holy Spirit!
