COVID-19 UPDATE
We have returned to services at the building. We are continuing to monitor updates, but for now:
We will be having 2 services
9:00 AM and 11:00 AM In an attempt to avoid any overcrowding and to keep everyone as safe as possible
This will be a touchless service:
No handshakes,
No hugging, etc.
Meaning spread out unless you are family (you still might want to spread out)
Wear a mask if you have one, we will have masks available.
We will not be having children’s church for the time being, but will be asking parents to have your children sit with you.
Reason, children are social and they are not the best at social distancing.
We will continue to send home the packets for the children as we have been doing throughout the restrictions.
We will not be having in-person Wednesday night service for the near future.
We will continue to live-stream Sunday and Wednesday services on the Journey Church Duffield Facebook Page and post services on the Journey Church Duffield YouTube site Sundays at 9:00 AM and Wednesdays at 7:00 PM

I’ve heard it all my life in church, when someone is having a hard time that they’ve been in the valley.
When things are good they are on the mountain top.
I’ve heard how sweet it is to be on the mountain.
I love the mountains, I live in the Appalachian Mountains
But I also love the valleys.
I want us to take a little different look at mountains and valleys in the spiritual and scriptural sense.

A couple of examples in asking folks what being on the mountain meant to them:
1. On the mountain is something used a lot for when we are having a high time int the Lord, or when things just seem to be going our way.
2. On the mountain is also when we feel God’s presence and we are close enough to Him to actually feel He is in control.

Have you have ever taken the opportunity to turn aside to see God and His wonders?
Or do you stand around and wonder why God has not called you!

David said He leads me beside still waters!
Where is the greatest harvest—In the valley!
We are called to reach people—where is the greatest population—In the valley!
Where ever you are, whether on the mountain, or in the valley ask God to use you for His benefit.
