The World Has Changed
The world has changed dramatically over the past months. Normal as we knew it is no more and we are still not sure of what the new normal will look like. The world is always changing but one thing hasn't changed; our mission.

Today we take a deep dive into what is commonly known as the Great Commission.

One Last Moment Together
After his death and resurrection Jesus appeared to his disciples and many other over a period of 40 days and then he ascended into heaven. Before he returned to heaven Jesus shared one final moment with his disciples and gave them some unfinished business to attend to.

Commissioned for Mission
Jesus commissioned his disciples to a mission of making disciples, baptising them and teaching them. This remains the mission of the disciples of Jesus to this day.

Life Group Discussion - Read 1 Corinthians 13:1-13

(1) In your own words, what is the mission of the church?

(2) Do you have a clear sense of being commissioned to God's mission?

(3) Have you ever tried to share about Jesus with someone? How did that go?

(4) Have you ever played a part in someone becoming a disciple of Jesus? What did that look like?

(5) What is the biggest barrier that holds you back from being involved/more involved in the mission of making disciples? How can you overcome this barrier?

(6) Who in your life do you feel compelled to pray for that they would know Jesus as their saviour?
