So, we’re not bound to wealth or poverty, but bound to Jesus whatever your financial state. God wants you blessed.
But blessed looks like giving…So here we go:
Money in America causes arthritis of the soul.
We don’t want to let go of anything that’s ours, and that starts with a $.
What I make is my business, what I give is my business, what I used to make is my business, what my parents make is only my business when they die.
But for a believer, everything is God’s business if you’re following Him…
More is said about money in the Bible than faith, love, Heaven, and hell combined. It is mentioned more than 2,085 times in the Scripture.

Why?
Giving is the character of God.
We should be known as the most generous people on the face of the earth

New Testament Giving—-gave all they had.
“we don't’ give tithes, we bring it” because it’s already his.
STEP 2 OFFERING
Why wouldn’t you want to give to someone? Why wouldn’t you pour into ministries you believe in ?
-START going a little bit beyond.
STEP 3 GENEROSITY —where opportunities are sought

-We start realizing the principal of Jesus. Giving is better. taking the steps is better. The more you move, the more the arthritis of the soul becomes looser

STEP 4 Faith—believing God wants to give through you what you don’t have
-This is where people get messed up. This isn’t so someone can fly a private jet.
-Here you’ve learned that giving to God demonstrates your faith.
Faith to give beyond that demonstrates God’s power in your giving.
STEP 5 FREEDOM —-here you’ve overcome your fear and it doesn’t hurt to give to God, another person, the church, whoever anymore.
Practice giving until it hurts more not to give. Give until it hurts because right after that, it won’t hurt anymore, it’ll bring joy.
-Here you’ve learned that giving to God demonstrates your faith.
