Pétros (a masculine noun) – properly, a stone (pebble), such as a small rock found along a pathway.
Pétros ("small stone") then stands in contrast to pétra ("cliff, boulder," Abbott-Smith).
(Pétros) is an isolated rock and 4073 (pétra) is a cliff".
(Pétros) always means a stone . . . such as a man may throw, . . . versus (pétra), a projecting rock, cliff"
● Petra - Peter, little stone, one a man can throw
○ Foundation of the apostles (Ephesians 2:19-20a)
● Rock - Jesus, and the proclaimed testimony (that Peter voiced)
○ the Chief Cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20a-22)

○ Cornerstone - a cornerstone, uniting two walls; head, ruler, lord, commander. (is the word, lit and fig, or metaphoric1-10ally)

Preschoolers through 3rd graders will be learning about... STORY - Deborah and Barak VERSE - Isaiah 33:22 The Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our King; it is HE who will save us. In Judges 4-5, we find the Isrealites have once again turned away from God and are under the rule of Canaan. God uses Deborah (the current judge over Isreal) and Barak to defeat the Canaanites and usher in 40 years of peace. DISCUSSION POINT - God uses people for His glory and for our good. He did so throughout the stories in scripture and continues to do so today. What are some ways God may use our children?

○ And teach, build up the stones - as the word build has in it, not just to construct, but also
