ONE*

This year is “Launch” year for our church and I’m praying it will be a launch year for you also. Every human being has been given a God given passion and a desire. If you are new to God or new to Church you may not have known that but it’s true.

Deep within all of us there is a knowing or a sense that there is more for us. More to be and more to do but what do we do with this sense that there is more to life than we are currently experiencing?

Well, we have to respond to it and act on it. We need to LAUNCH out and trust what we are sensing.

For the next 4 weeks, we are going to look at what it takes to LAUNCH out in life, to jump or take that first step in faith and some of the things we may encounter when we do.

For the Christ-follower I would say it this way, “How do we trust God to take the next step and then the next step and then the next step?”

Our old life never becomes our new life until we are willing to launch.

Launches occur when we begin thinking like we’ve never thought and when we begin doing what we’ve never done.

Have you ever felt like you need to make a change? Have you ever thought that there was something more? Have you ever felt like you needed to launch out in a new direction?

Here is the good news, God created us for launching.

A new way of living always begins with a new way of thinking.

“It’s impossible to follow God and remain the same.” If you want to move from one point to another, from one place to a new place you have to take a step. Your old life will never become your new life until you are willing to launch.

What does it take to launch to a new level?

Here is the simple truth: You will have to let go if you are going to launch.

If you want to move to a higher level of life, you must be willing to trust God and let go of your old ways of thinking and being.

A new way of living always begins with a new way of thinking. Sometimes you just have to JUMP!

1. “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you.

Don’t abort the launch just because you only know 98% of what’s going on. Launch!

2. So Abram departed as the LORD had instructed.

Obedience to God’s plan is the only way to experience His promise. There comes a time when you have to act on what you believe or you don’t really believe it.

When you launch you must understand that it will impact the lives of others. Launching is a very personal thing but it does impact others.

5. At that time, the area was inhabited by Canaanites.

Just because God gives you a vision and a purpose doesn’t mean that you won’t face resistance.

Pray, get wise counsel and then obey God and launch.

Where is God asking you to launch out?

Wherever God is asking you to launch out do it. 2017 is the year for you to JUMP and let God help you soar with the gifts and callings He has given you.

This week I want you to ask God one thing, “God where do you want me to launch this year?” I believe He is going to speak to you. When He does, trust Him and LAUNCH. Remember, You will have to let go before you launch.
