Kalamazoo First Assembly of God
#MyChurch Week 1: "Everyone Is Significant"
January is about “newness.” Whether we are talking about a new start, new life, new opportunities, or just new vision, a new year naturally directs our focus forward into endless possibilities. And its every January where we celebrate the newness of what God has in store for our church community as we kickoff our annual MYCHURCH series. We believe when the Church is working right, there is nothing like it. The Church is not an organization. It's an organism designed to live, move, and have being. In Matthew 16, Jesus gave us this promise that He would build His Church, and that nothing could prevail against it. So, we don't just attend a church and we don't just tolerate the Church — we celebrate it, because we are part of that Church that Jesus is building! This month, we celebrate everything that God has done, while looking forward to the future. We have a rich history here at Kfirst, but we believe that the best is yet to come.

Healthy habits create holy moments.

There is no impact without contact.

How do you develop relational equity? Love people where you live.

One way that I can love an invisible God is by loving my visible neighbor.

I can love someone without approving of their decisions.

The more you attempt to reveal God's love, the more God's love is revealed to you.

Don’t ever give up on people that God hasn’t given up on.

How do you develop relational equity? Tell people what you know.

Sharing my failures don't make me "less." It just evens the ground I'm standing on.
