There will be no services on December 25. With the full Christmas season, The Ridge wants to provide an opportunity for attendees, volunteers, and staff to enjoy the holiday with their families and friends. There will be a family devotional available on Christmas morning at theridge.church/devotional. Begin 2017 by joining us on Sunday, January 1, at 11 am or 5 pm.

Beginning January 1, 2017, The Ridge launches the new year with a new time—a Sunday evening service at 5 pm, replacing the Saturday evening service. Join us New Year’s Day at 11 am or 5 pm. Services will be Sundays (only) at 9 & 11 am, and at 5 pm, beginning the second weekend of January.

Christmas at The Ridge [December 22/23/24, 2016] Tim Haring

But why? Why do we celebrate Christmas? What does it reveal about God and his amazing plan for humanity? Today, we’ll join together to enjoy a heart-warming service with music, laughter and a message answering the biggest question of all: why?
According to the website, “Questions.Org,”
“…the purpose of the B.C./A.D. dating system was to make the birth of Jesus Christ the dividing point of world history.”
“The incarnation is the universe-sundering, history-altering, life-transforming, paradigm-shattering event of history.”
· A God who was only holy would not have come down to us in Jesus Christ.

· A deity that was an “all-accepting God of love,” would not have needed to come to Earth.

Miss a weekend?
