Hebrews 4:12-13 (MSG)

12-13 God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one is impervious to God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what.

Community Bible Experience at Grace Community Church

Community Bible Experience (CBE) is a different way to read the New Testament: less like a reference book, more like a story. It’s a new way to talk about the Bible, too: less like a Bible study, more like a book club.
Starting January 15, 2017, we'll be embarking on this walk through the Scriptures together. We hope you'll join us on an unforgettable 8-week journey and fall in love with God in a whole new way!
Click here for more information, free resources and to join us on this exciting 40-day challenge to hear God's Voice in a way we've never heard before.

John 1:14 (NLT)

14 So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.

My Next Step

Will you take the 40-day challenge with us, so that God's word IN you might even become something God re-gifts THROUGH you to others?

For my personal time with God this week:

[#1] Read Psalm 119 this week. Take the time as you read it to consider what God is saying to you about being in the Word, and how it can and will change your life. Be honest with God about the challenges you might face in taking the 40-day challenge with us next month, and ask for His help.
[#2] If you have some extra time, take a moment to carefully read John 1:1-18, as it explains how Jesus literally was and is the word of God made human, to come to earth and help us to know and be in close relationship with God. How many truths about Jesus can you find here? Which ones are easier, or harder, to grasp and understand? Why?
