Christmas is a lesson on waiting. Waiting for Christmas is hard for kids; waiting on the Lord has never come easy for adults.

· You can model patience before your kids.
· Stir up a conversation about patience (or impatience).
· Some parents use timers when appropriate.
· Assign your kids responsibilities that will require more time & thus more patience.
· You don’t always have to give your kids what they want immediately.
