Holiday Sundays
With the Christmas and New Year’s holidays falling on Sundays, be sure to make note of the changes in our service times:
• Christmas Day – One service at 9:45 in the Chapel
• New Years Day – One service at 9:45 here in this auditorium
Then mark your calendars for January 8, a very important day in the history of Fellowship Missionary Church: the installation of Pastor Joe Johns as our next Senior Pastor. It will be a time of celebration and challenge, worship and prayer as Pastor Dave hands the baton of leadership to Pastor Joe.

You need to know that your allegiance will be opposed.
You need to see that your decision might be a lonely one.
Hymn - "I Have Decided to Follow Jesus"
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
No turning back, no turning back.
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
No turning back, no turning back.
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
No turning back, no turning back.
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
No turning back, no turning back.
You need to understand that your dedication needs to be shown and not merely said.
You need to trust that your resolution will be worth it.
For Further Reflection
1. In what areas do you face opposition as it relates to your allegiance to Jesus?
2. Have you ever felt lonely in the commitments you have made? When?
3. The challenge that one’s commitment can be seen by their datebook and their checkbook is a sobering one. What is your response to it?
4. How does knowing that your resolution will be worth it one day keep motivating you?
