We can follow Sin and suffering up to its root of origin.

AN INSTRUCTION NOT TO EAT OF THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL
The tree of knowledge of good and evil - symbolises Law and Faithlessness (unbelief)
The tree of life symbolises grace, faith and faithfulness. Man was created with his own will.

Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field and he came with a lie to deceive Eve - you will surely not die but be like gods if you have the knowledge of good and evil

THE SERPENT FIRST COMES TO THE WOMAN
Satan came to disrupt God’s order of first Adam then Eve. Now the order was first the woman then Adam. The serpent (Satan) who rebelled against God (Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14) tried to disrupt and turn Gods order around.

The woman did not believe God’s Word…..

The woman chose to believe Satan’s word above the Word of God.
God created the Universe with His spoken Word – He just spoke a Word and everything came to existence, all matter…..
God said - and it all came to existence – yet man He created does not believe in His powerful Mighty Word – UNBELIEF

The same Word God said to ADAM – “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” is the same Word that said … let it be and the heavens and the earth with the whole universe came to being.

THE WOMAN DID NOT BELIEVE GOD - She chose to believe Satan
She desired to be like gods and have the knowledge between good and evil
… and Adam participated

God sculpted out of the dust of the earth a human sculpture. He then breathed His breath (Spirit) in the nostrils of this lump of clay and man became a living soul. Man now had a spirit, a soul and a body.

Man is now a triune being created to God's likeness.
This was hidden from man up until after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 5:23
"And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ ..."

The following most important results took place with the fall of man:

1. He became corruptible seed

2. Man became mortal and died spiritually – Tree of life was cut off in the Garden of Eden.
Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

3. An exchange took place He received the devil as his father according to John 8:44
"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."
- HE WAS THE ONE WHO’S WORD ADAM BELIEVED

4, An exchange of nature took place. He lost his godly nature in exchange of Satan’s sinful nature.

5. He became an old man ... Ephesians 4:22

God were not surprised. An all knowing Almighty God had a plan even before the foundation of the world.

Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

1 Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

1 Peter 1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

God gave a cross - The Cross at Golgotha became the TREE OF LIFE
On the cross an exchange took place

1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man, Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Christ took our old man, Adam with Him to the cross together with his whole history of sin and nailed it to the cross and He rose as a complete
- NEW GLORIFIED CREATURE.

The incorruptible seed has put the corruptible seed to death.

PROPITIATION
The removal of the whole sinful history of the entire human race – Your history becomes His history.

Aaron took a goat and laid his hands on his forehead. The whole sinful history of the nation came upon the goat. He was chased into the desert to die alone and forsaken.
Jesus cried out My God, My God why have you forsaken me.

The moment you receive Christ as your Personal Saviour this mystery takes place through the Holy Spirit. You are Born Again, Your Spirit becomes alive!
