Title: A Song of Hope
Scripture: Psalm 33:1-22
Speaker: Tyler Chernesky, TylerC@ChristCommunityKC.org

>> Hoping means waiting.
“Remember, Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies.” - Shawshank Redemption
“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all
- Emily Dickinson
>> Hope is pretty word, but a painful reality.
>> If we never learn to wait, we’ll never learn to hope.
>> So how do we wait? choose to sing songs of praise, even when life is difficult.
>> Praising God together, especially when it’s hard to hope, is the pathway to stronger hope.
>> The songs we hum in our hearts are the songs that shape our lives.
>> The more you hear a song the more you grow to love it. And the more you love a song, the more you want to hear it.
