"Remember Me"

And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table. For the Son of Man goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!” Luke 22:19-22

1. Remember I Love You.
-“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. John 3:16-17

2. Remember I took care of it all.
-When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. John 19:30

3. Remember I will never leave you.
- Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6

"If a man cannot prove his religion in the valley, it is not worth anything." Oswald Chambers

OCC Warehouse Trip to Baltimore

Did you ever wonder what happens to your shoebox after it leaves the church? The first stop is at a processing center where volunteers check each and every shoebox before it is shipped to a child in need. A day trip to the O.C.C. packing center in Baltimore is being planned for Monday, December 5. We will be volunteering from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. We have 30 spots reserved. Reservations will be on a first come, fist served basis. If we have more than 30 people interested, we will see if we can join a waiting list to acquire more spots. Please sign up in the foyer of the church, at the FLC welcome center or call Teresa Sheaffer @ 463-9312 if you are interested. Due to the warehouse setting, children must be at least 13 years old to participate and have a responsible adult accompany them if under 18 years old.
