1. “When we (Paul & Company) had come to Jerusalem, the brothers received us gladly.” Acts 21:17
2. “When the seven days were almost completed, the Jews from Asia, seeing him (Paul) in the temple, stirred up the whole crowd and laid hands on him,” Acts 21:27
3. “Then the tribune came up and arrested him (Paul) and ordered him to be bound with two chains.” Acts 21:33
4. Then the tribune sent Paul to Felix the Governor in Caesarea to protect him from the Jews. Acts 23:12-35
5. Paul makes his defense before Felix. “Felix left Paul in prison.” Acts 24:1-27
6. Felix is succeeded by Festus. Paul is forced to appeal to Caesar rather than return to Jerusalem. Acts 25:1-12
7. King Agrippa visits and Paul is given permission to defend himself. His third defense while under arrest. Acts 26:1-32
1. Herod the Great killed the babies in Bethlehem
Mark 2:1 “Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea
in the days of Herod the king,”
2. Herod Antipas (1 of 3 sons of Herod the Great Ruled over
Galilee & Perea) Killed John the Baptist
3. Herod Agrippa I (Grandson of Herod the Great)
“He killed James the brother of John with the sword,.” Acts 12:2-3a
4. Herod Agrippa II (Son of Herod Agrippa I) heard Paul’s
appeal recorded in Acts 26

Acts 26:1 “So (King Herod) Agrippa (2nd) said to Paul,
‘You have permission to speak for yourself.’
Then Paul stretched out his hand and made his defense;”
