Reflect: Have you ever said or been told, “I couldn’t have done this without your help.” What does it say about the person who said it and the task they faced? Conversely have you had an unreliable partner who was more of a drag than helpful? How did it affect you?
Reflect: Paul and Silas apparently were made for one another. Reading between the lines what do you think made Silas a good partner for Paul? Read Acts 16:16-25 how did they help one another?
Reflect: Read Proverbs 17:17; 18:24; 27:10; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 These verses describe the benefit of having a friend or a brother. Why is it wise to have to have a friend who is like a brother?
Reflect: The majority of Paul’s letters mention a variety of partners who helped share the message of Jesus with others. Do you think the church today has a partnership mentality or not? How can you strengthen the principle of many hands make light work?
Reflect: What’s one thing you can take from this message and apply to your life?
Rest & Reflect: Days 6 & 7 are days of rest and reflection. Use these days to dig a bit deeper if you feel inspired.
