We are a Pre-Trib, Pre-Millennial Church in our Eschatological Views and we interpret revelation as Chronological and Chapters 4 thru 22 as future events.
John 14:1-3 (NLT) 1 “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. 2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

1) What is the Millennium?

Word Millennium is: Two Latin words: Mille= One Thousand Annum=
Year. It is at literal 1,000 reign of Jesus Christ on a renovated Earth.

2) When will the Millennium take place?

~3 Separate Views Regarding The Millennium~

A) Post-millennialism / Kingdom Now Theology / Liberation Theology / Reconstructionist Theology or Dominion Theology= Believes Jesus comes back after we the Church establish a literal 1,000 years of peace. *Our Church does not hold to this view.

2 Tim. 3:1-5 (NIV) But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. [2] People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, [3] without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, [4] treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-- [5] having a form of godliness but denying its power…

B) Amillennialism= Believes there is no millennium. *Our Church does NOT hold to this view.

C) Our Church Holds To: Pre-millennialism= Jesus will return (actually touching Earth at Mt. of Olives) before the 1,000 year millennium, essentially His return is initiating the 1,000 year millennium; in which He will reign as King bringing Peace to Earth for a 1,000 literal years. This is the official second coming and a separate event that follows the rapture and tribulation.

3) How will the millennium take place?

A) Jesus returns with Us.
Revelation 19:14 (NLT) 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses.

B) An Angel binds satan in Chains and locking him in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years.
Revelation 20:1-3 (NLT) 1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand. 2 He seized the dragon—that old serpent, who is the devil, Satan—and bound him in chains for a thousand years. 3 The angel threw him into the bottomless pit, which he then shut and locked so Satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished. Afterward he must be released for a little while.

C) Jesus sets up His rule and has us Rule with Him.

Revelation 20:6 (NLT) 6 … they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years.

4) Why will the Millennium happen?

~8 Reason For The Millennium~

1) Peace on Earth.
Isaiah 11:9 (NLT) Nothing will hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain. And as the waters fill the sea, so the earth will be filled with people who know the Lord.

Isaiah 66:23 (NLT) "All humanity will come to worship me from week to week and from month to month.

Zech. 13:2 (NLT) "And on that day, says the Lord Almighty, I will get rid of every trace of idol worship throughout the land, so that even the names of the idols will be forgotten. I will remove from the land all false prophets and the unclean spirits that inspire them.

Micah 4:2-3 (NLT) Many nations will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the Temple of the God of Israel. There he will teach us his ways, so that we may obey him." For in those days the Lord's teaching and his word will go out from Jerusalem. [3] The Lord will settle international disputes. All the nations will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. All wars will stop, and military training will come to an end.

And lions will eat grass as the livestock do. [8] Babies will crawl safely among poisonous snakes. Yes, a little child will put its hand in a nest of deadly snakes and pull it out unharmed. Isaiah 9:6 (NLT) For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

2) God’s glory Returns.
Ezekiel 11:23 (NIV) The glory of the Lord went up from within the city and stopped above the mountain east of it.

Ezekiel 43:2+5 (NLT) [2] Suddenly, the glory of the God of Israel appeared from the east. The sound of his coming was like the roar of rushing waters, and the whole landscape shone with his glory. [5] Then the Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner courtyard, and the glory of the Lord filled the Temple.

3) Reestablish a King on David’s throne.
Jeremiah 23:5 (NLT) "For the time is coming," says the Lord, "when I will place a righteous Branch on King David's throne. He will be a King who rules with wisdom. He will do what is just and right throughout the land.

1 Tim. 6:15 (NLT) For at the right time Christ will be revealed from heaven by the blessed and only almighty God, the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Rev. 19:16 (NLT) On his robe and thigh was written this title: King of kings and Lord of lords.

Isaiah 9:7 (NLT) His ever expanding, peaceful government will never end. He will rule forever with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David. The passionate commitment of the Lord Almighty will guarantee this!

Jeremiah 33:15 (NLT) At that time I will bring to the throne of David a righteous descendant, and he will do what is just and right throughout the land.

Luke 1:32 (NLT) He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David.

Matthew 1:1-2 + 16 (NLT) This is a record of the ancestors of Jesus the Messiah, a descendant of King David and of Abraham: [2] Abraham was the father of Isaac. Isaac was the father of Jacob. Jacob was the father of Judah and his brothers. [16] Jacob was the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary. Mary was the mother of Jesus, who is called the Messiah.

4) Everlasting Joy.
Isaiah 35:10 (NLT) Those who have been ransomed by the Lord will return to Jerusalem, singing songs of everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear, and they will be overcome with joy and gladness.

Isaiah 25:8 (NLT) He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The Lord has spoken!

5) Restore a blessed Earth.
Ezekiel 34:26-27 (NIV) I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing. [27] The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land...

Ezekiel 36:35 (NLT) …[35] And when I bring you back, people will say, 'This godforsaken land is now like Eden's garden!… [36]… For I, the Lord, have promised this, and I will do it.

Amos 9:13 (NLT) "The time will come," says the Lord, "when the grain and grapes will grow faster than they can be harvested. Then the terraced vineyards on the hills of Israel will drip with sweet wine!

Zechariah 14:6 (NIV) 6 On that day there will be no light, no cold or frost.

Zech. 8:12 (NLT) For I am planting seeds of peace and prosperity among you. The grapevines will be heavy with fruit. The earth will produce its crops, and the sky will release the dew...

Isaiah 35:1 (NLT) Even the wilderness will rejoice in those days. The desert will blossom with flowers.

Genesis 5:26-27 (NLT) After the birth of Lamech, Methuselah lived another 782 years, and he had other sons and daughters. [27] He died at the age of 969.

Isaiah 65:20 (NLT) …No longer will adults die before they have lived a full life. No longer will people be considered old at one hundred! Only sinners will die that young!

6) Reward for His Followers Old Testament, New Testament and During Tribulation.
Daniel 7:9 & 27 (NLT) 9 I watched as thrones were put in place and the Ancient One sat down to judge. His clothing was as white as snow, his hair like purest wool. He sat on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire,…27 Then the sovereignty, power, and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be given to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will last forever, and all rulers will serve and obey him.”

1 Cor. 6:2-3 (NLT) Don't you know that someday we Christians are going to judge the world?… [3] Don't you realize that we Christians will judge angels?...
Isaiah 40:10 (NLT) Yes, the Sovereign Lord is coming in all his glorious power. He will rule with awesome strength. See, he brings his reward with him as he comes.

Luke 19:16-19 (NLT) 16 The first servant reported, ‘Master, I invested your money and made ten times the original amount!’ 17 “‘Well done!’ the king exclaimed. ‘You are a good servant. You have been faithful with the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities as your reward.’ 18 “The next servant reported, ‘Master, I invested your money and made five times the original amount.’ 19 “‘Well done!’ the king said. ‘You will be governor over five cities.’

7) Response to Prophecies about Millennium.
Psalm 72:11 (NLT) All kings will bow before him, and all nations will serve him.

8) Response to the Lord’s Prayer.
Matthew 6:9-10 (TEV) This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven: May your holy name be honored; [10] may your Kingdom come; may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

5) Who will be in the Millennium?

A) Neither the devil nor demons will be there.

B) Christians who died before the Rapture will be there.
Luke 23:43 (NLT) 43 And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17(NLT) 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. 17 … Then we will be with the Lord forever.

C) Raptured Christians will be there.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 (NLT) 17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.

D) Believers of Jesus Killed during the Tribulation will be there.
Revelation 6:9-11 (NLT) 9 When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of all who had been martyred for the word of God and for being faithful in their testimony. 10 They shouted to the Lord and said, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you judge the people who belong to this world and avenge our blood for what they have done to us?”
11 Then a white robe was given to each of them. And they were told to rest a little longer until the full number of their brothers and sisters—their fellow servants of Jesus who were to be martyred—had joined them.

Revelation 20:4-6 (NLT) 4 Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for proclaiming the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their forehead or their hands. They all came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 This is the first resurrection. (The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended.) 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years.

E) Believers who Survive the Tribulation and Armageddon will be there and simply crossover as mortal Christians like we are today, but non-believers who survive the Tribulation will NOT be in the millennium.
Matthew 25:31-33 (NLT) 31 “But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

E. 1. Sheep= Believers
Matthew 25:34 (NLT) 34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.

E. 2. Goats= Non-Believers.
Matthew 25:41&46 (NLT) 41 “Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons… 46 “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”

Revelation 19:1-2 (NLT) 1 After this, I heard what sounded like a vast crowd in heaven shouting, “Praise the LORD! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God. 2 His judgments are true and just…

F) People Born during the Millennium will be there.
Isaiah 65:20 (NLT) "No longer will babies die when only a few days old. No longer will adults die before they have lived a full life. No longer will people be considered old at one hundred! Only sinners will die that young!

G) Old Testament people who placed faith and belief in God to provide
a Messiah will be there in the Millennium.
Daniel 12:1-2 (NLT) 1 “At that time Michael, the archangel who stands guard over your nation, will arise. Then there will be a time of anguish greater than any since nations first came into existence. But at that time every one of your people whose name is written in the book will be rescued. 2 Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace.
Romans 4:20-22 (NIV) 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22 This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness."

Matthew 27:50-53 (NLT) 50 Then Jesus shouted out again, and he released his spirit. 51 At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, rocks split apart, 52 and tombs opened. The bodies of many godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead. 53 They left the cemetery after Jesus’ resurrection, went into the holy city of Jerusalem, and appeared to many people.

1 Corinthians 15:17, 18 & 23 (NLT) 17 And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins. 18 In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost! 23 But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when he comes back.
