RECAP – Vince Antonucci shared a message of hope for us. Even when things aren’t okay, we can still be okay. We can experience peace even in a pandemic when we settle two issues: our identity and our priorities. When we understand who we are in Jesus and come to grips with His love and care for us we can have peace even when chaos swirls around us. We also need to get our priorities set right. Like button holes on a shirt, it’s important to get the first button in the first button hole, or everything will be off. When we make God our first priority, everything else begins to line up, and peace follows priorities.
QUESTIONS –
(1) In the Corona craziness, what has been the thing that has caused the most panic, frustration, or unsettledness? Why?
(2) What’s your current level of peace on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being “I’m losing my mind” and 10 being “no worries, mon”?
(3) Read Hebrews 11:24. How should knowing I’m a child of God change how I view myself and how I live?
(4) How do you think you would live differently if you lived every day as “the one Jesus loves”?
(5) Read Hebrews 11:25-26. What are you “choosing” now? Where are your priorities?
(6) Where do you think your priorities need to shift?
(7) Read Romans 8:37-39. What good news does this bring to you? What do these verses say about your priorities and your identity?

Hebrews 11:24

Hebrews 11:25-26

Romans 8:37-39
