Mission - God is wanting to always do something through you. It is an experience weaved through your life.
God's mission is wrapped around hope, joy, mercy, love and kindness.
In 2 Kings 13 we have the story of King Jehoash of Israel visiting an ill and dying prophet Elisha. In this story we see:
WHAT
1. God moves through obedience.
2. God is the agent and we are the instrument.
3. We are here on earth not just to conquer but to be more than conquerors.
WHY
1. The Holy Spirit is the agent of change (2 Cor. 3:18).
2. We are branches, remaining on the vine is where our nutrient (God's power) flows.
3. Where the Spirit of the Lord is made lord there is liberty.
HOW
1. God's power we ABSORB (power from the root), if AFFECTS us (we are renewed and transformed) and INVOLVES us into the process of producing fruit.
WHEN
1. God shoots us into a new seasons (the opened window).
2. We are never released without His power (the prophet put his hands on the kings hand).
3. Tension of destiny (backward motion might feel like a set back).
