Confident, Bold, But Not Puffed Up! May We Ace The Race To Win!
In life, a person needs confidence, not the overly confident type, but the kind that enables us to make sound and wise decisions. This is the type of confidence that allows us to rebuke the enemy of our souls without fear—a boldness that comes from the Holy Spirit within! Please refer to 2 Corinthians 3:12.
“The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1 NKJV
As you read Isaiah 54:17 below, you will realize God is speaking of His chosen Jerusalem. The verse also tells us this is a heritage of the servants of the Lord. To be a servant of the Lord, we need boldness, confidence, and knowing that the battles are His. When we include Him in our daily lives, we can be just that: Confident and bold!
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17 NKJV
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16 NKJV
In life’s boot camp, we need God, and the way to approach Him is with "boldness." Don’t be afraid to ask of Him, for He is our help in times of need. Please refer to Acts 4:31.
“Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word.” Acts 4:29 NKJV
We also need this confident boldness to share the gospel. If we truly believe this message, it isn’t something we keep to ourselves, for we live in a lost and dying world. We must become as bold as lions. We must take a stand and not back down.
“So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Hebrews 13:6 KJV
We have only one life here on Earth, and it is a training camp. Let us ace the race to win!
Prayer: Lord, the news each day has a way of making us want to cower and shirk, but in You, we can have all confidence and be bold. When our weak moments bombard us, let us remember and rise in Your power. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
About this Plan

Compared to eternity, life on earth is but a short time. The world is home to an estimated 722,000 centenarians (age 100), according to the United Nations’ population projections for 2024. That is, .02 to .03% of the world’s population. Whether we die young or live to be old, what we do in between will matter. Living here is boot camp training to qualify for heaven!
