Life happens! However, at times -after it happens- it leaves us bewildered, with blurred vision. Life has a way of readjusting our focus. And oftentimes, that readjustment and realignment occurs through unfortunate events. It is my prayer that we do not lose our identity and purpose when life hits hard. I hope that through your ups and downs, God would provide “Clarity In Unfortunate Events”.
One of the most pressing issues for Christians in this cultural moment is how we should interact with politics. Should we remain silent or should we be outspoken? Should we run for office or retreat into exclusively Christian communities? This three-day devotional aims to provide some biblical guardrails to consider when seeking to live out the way of Jesus in the political arena.
In our politically charged environment, especially as we approach election season, many Christians find themselves wrestling with how to engage in the political sphere while staying true to their faith. This challenge is not new - believers throughout history have grappled with similar questions. However, by examining Scripture and reflecting on our role in God's redemptive plan, we can find guidance for our present moment.
Do you understand how special you are to God? God has chosen you and called you by name! He knew you and He knew your purpose way before you were even born. There is something special about knowing that you're chosen by God.
