“ ‘When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the foreigner. I am the LORD your God. “ ‘Do not steal. “ ‘Do not lie. “ ‘Do not deceive one another. “ ‘Do not swear falsely by my name and so profane the name of your God. I am the LORD. “ ‘Do not defraud or rob your neighbor. “ ‘Do not hold back the wages of a hired worker overnight. “ ‘Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block in front of the blind, but fear your God. I am the LORD. “ ‘Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly. “ ‘Do not go about spreading slander among your people. “ ‘Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor’s life. I am the LORD. “ ‘Do not hate a fellow Israelite in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in their guilt. “ ‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.

This study explores the topic of generosity, a word that can at times be counter-cultural but has the power to be transformational in this world where ‘self’ reigns supreme and where God’s love is needed more than ever.
Generosity is a distinctive dimension of Christian leadership in the marketplace. Christian leaders have a high calling, a great challenge, and a broad platform for kingdom impact by intentionally incorporating generosity into their professional/business ecosystem. Explore with Dr. Jesus Sampedro both God's expectation to be generous and new ways of being generous while catalyzing generosity in others.

Every company has a Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) or an equivalent, overseeing all aspects of people management. Naturally, employees look to the HR on career matters. Believers, however, can confidently look to God as our ultimate CHRO. For only He has the holistic, long-term view, placing us at the right place, at the right time, to meet the right persons for very specific kingdom purposes.
Discipleship works against fear. As we obey God’s commands, we entrust ourselves to him. Like the students attending the schools founded by D. L. Moody in Northfield, MA, God’s people “are encouraged to test the meaning and value of the Bible’s teachings experimentally, by acting upon them, and living them out.” As we “test experimentally” the word of God, we will find that we will have fewer and fewer reasons to be afraid.
