30 Days of Scriptures for Mental Health StrugglesSample

Day 6: Have Hope, Patience, and Faith
If someone asked me what I thought were the three traits needed throughout my mental health journey, I think Romans 12:12 NIV sums it up perfectly: “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
Hope is important because believing that things will get better helped me have a bright future to look forward to, and that brought me joy.
Patience is crucial because it teaches endurance to withstand the challenges, holding steady to my belief that my current circumstances were not going to last forever.
Faith is the most essential key that changed my life because of it. I prayed and believed that God was doing a work within me, so I persisted.
Therefore, I encourage you to follow the instructions of Romans 12:12. Have hope, patience, and faith. This can apply to struggles beyond your mental health.
Prayer point:
Heavenly Father, Almighty God, thank you for blessing me with your Word. Please increase my hope, my patience, and my faith to get through all of the challenges I face. Help me have joy. Bless me to endure and overcome my afflictions. Teach me how to be consistent in prayer. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
