30 Days of Scriptures for Mental Health StrugglesSample

Day 22: Shine Your Light
Matthew 5:16 NIV has been a motto for a long time. It says, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
I know right now you might feel like your light is dim, but I pray you know that you still have a light that’s worth shining. Your mental health struggles and experiences might have dimmed your light, but it is not extinguished.
Fight for your light. God gave it to you for you to shine before others and bring glory to Him. Your testimony of dealing with mental health challenges and overcoming them will bring God glory. Therefore, I encourage you to keep the faith, keep your light, and bring God glory. Do not give up on your mental health. With God, your mental health can shine brightly.
Prayer point:
Heavenly Father, Almighty God, thank you for giving me a light to shine. Bless me to do good deeds through my mental health journey and bring you glory. Increase your light within me. May I always reflect your goodness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
