Day 5: It Is Well With My Soul

May you never forget that He is the same God to you as He was the God who parted the sea and let the Israelites walk on dry land.

Who are we to think that the Lord of lords is not working in our lives?

Who are we to think we should settle for incomplete things?

We serve a God of intention.

We serve a God who works in the unseen!

We serve a God who is willing and waiting to part the sea of our lives so that we might cross on dry land to enter our Promise Land later.

If the Lord has promised you a room where goodness and faithfulness will pursue you, then surely, He will not fail!

I cannot assure you that this life will be an easy one, but I can assure you that the presence of the Lord is forever promised.

You will be put through trials and suffering. You will have a hard day in the mix of good ones.

It is okay, and you are not sliding backwards, but this is where the wisdom you have gained and the obedience that you choose come into play.

You must choose joy and choose to intentionally sing a song of thankfulness and rejoicing to the Lord!

In this journey of learning how to say “it is well with my soul,” let the Lord melt you, mold you, fill you, and use you for His glory.

Be willing to say, “Lord, if suffering all the days of my life is what brings you most glory, then, let it be so.”

He will do wonders with your surrender.

Remember that He uses and works all things for goodness.
