How Is It With Your Soul?Sample

Day 4: It Will Be Well With My Soul
Wow, in-between. This was a hard time for me and still is because, as humans, we do not know how to wait well.
I do not know about you, but I like answers, and I like answers now.
I remember back in high school, I took a college calculus course, and every day, I usually had something to complain about to my dad from that course. Having a dad who loves math and uses it for a living, he was always more than happy to help if I had questions.
However, I often found myself not even knowing what to ask him. I did not know enough material to know what I did not know. It took an immensely long review session to get me prepped for my first test, but I passed!
While it would have been cool to listen to my lecture and immediately understand the material and immediately have the answers, going through a couple of prep nights with my dad really helped me in the long run.
Have you ever felt like asking God why it is taking so long within a season of preparation?
Are you finding yourself in want of the answers now?
I would encourage you to step back, self-examine, and ask the Lord to highlight the lessons of your wilderness season.
Do this so that you can be well prepared for when the Lord changes your season.
Think of it as a study guide or a review session.
The Lord may have brought something to your attention some time ago, but is just now bringing clarity to it within your waiting season.
In this season of preparation, learn what you do not know and ask the Lord to teach you, and ask Him to continue preparing you until you are at the point where you can glorify Him the most in the season you are currently in.
Ask Him to teach your soul to wait well.

About this Plan

How is it with your soul? God understands if you’re struggling to admit you are not doing well. Too often, we get caught up in wanting to take residence in the valley of our lives, but we are called to walk with the Lord to where he wants to lead us.
