Have you ever been frustrated that old thoughts, habits, or attitudes don’t just solve themselves when you get to know Jesus? We forget that Jesus trusts us to choose how we use the freedom He gives us. We get to choose to take responsibility, not just for our freedom but to find ways to show up for others.
Today, find a way to show up for someone else. Look at the friends, family, and community, and begin to look at how you can serve them. This is a great step to rediscovering the freedom that Jesus brings if you need to find it again.
Work with others to memorize this verse this week. Challenge one another and your small group leader to memorize it. If you all get it, go out for milkshakes!
