Redemption

DAY 3 OF 6

REDEMPTION AND HEALING As we embark on day three of our journey, Luke 5:24 unveils the intertwined connection between redemption and healing. Join in the exploration of how Christ's authority to forgive sins extends to our physical and emotional well-being, bringing freedom from the bondage of sickness. Embrace the transformative power of redemption that not only forgives sins but also heals and restores every aspect of our lives. "But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” – he said to the paralyzed man – “I tell you, stand up, take your stretcher and go home.” - Luke 5:24 NET When we carefully read this account, we will discover that sin is closely related to sickness and death. In Romans 5:12(NET), Apostle Paul says: "So then, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and so death spread to all people because all sinned –". It becomes clear that sin is the harbinger of death. Sicknesses are offspring of death. They’re all related. When Adam sinned, we all sinned, therefore sicknesses became a part of human existence. But in Christ Jesus, we are exempted from such experiences because our sins are forgiven and we have been redeemed. Jesus looked at the paralytic and told him, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” (Luke 5:20 NET) Jesus was simply assuring him that the legal hold that kept him in that paralyzed state was broken and destroyed. Many people are paralyzed and broken emotionally, financially, mentally, etc., but they can be free if they believe in the redemptive work of Christ. Redemption offers us total healing from every form of sickness; whether physically, emotionally, or in other areas of our lives. This is possible because our sins are forgiven. Receive your healing today because you are forgiven and totally redeemed.
