Day 17 Read – Acts 17 Acts 17:6 "When they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some of the brothers before the city officials, shouting, 'These men who have turned the world upside down have come here too'" This verse is one of my favorites from Acts describing the first century church. Think about what the church at that time was doing and how it changed the world. They were reaching people every day for Christ and showing them, both Jews and Gentiles who Jesus was and what He came and died for. What do you think it would take for the church of today to be described this way? I believe that all it would take is for every true, born again Christian to plug into scripture and prayer on a daily basis to hear God's Word and then have the faith and conviction to act on it. If we are truly aligned with what God would have us to do and are doing it then we should be turning the world upside down wherever we go. When was the last time you were described that way? Does it fit for you? Lord, give us hearts to desire to plug in to you and hear from you in our daily lives and transform us to reflect you to everyone around us, wherever we go.
