One-Directional Love

It’s important that our kids understand that God’s love is one-directional. The only reason we even get to love Him is because He first chose to love us, even when we didn’t love Him back. We should also strive to love our kids like God has loved us – not based on their feelings towards us but based on a decision we make ahead of time to love them regardless of the circumstances.
