Pan ddaeth yn ddydd, cynllwyniodd yr holl brif offeiriaid a henuriaid y bobl yn erbyn Iesu i'w roi i farwolaeth. Rhwymasant ef a mynd ag ef ymaith a'i drosglwyddo i Pilat, y rhaglaw. Yna pan welodd Jwdas, ei fradychwr, fod Iesu wedi ei gondemnio, bu'n edifar ganddo ac aeth â'r deg darn arian ar hugain yn ôl at y prif offeiriaid a'r henuriaid. Dywedodd, “Pechais trwy fradychu dyn dieuog.” “Beth yw hynny i ni?” meddent hwy. “Rhyngot ti a hynny.” A thaflodd Jwdas yr arian i lawr yn y deml ac ymadael; aeth ymaith, ac fe'i crogodd ei hun.
