He asked me, “What do you see?” I answered, “I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it, with seven channels to the lamps.

Then I asked the angel, “What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?”

And he said to me, “What do you see?” I said, “I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl on the top of it, and seven lamps on it, with seven lips on each of the lamps that are on the top of it.

Then I said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?”

“What do you see now?” he asked. I answered, “I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl of oil on top of it. Around the bowl are seven lamps, each having seven spouts with wicks.

Then I asked the angel, “What are these two olive trees on each side of the lampstand

He asked me, “What do you see? ” I replied, “I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl at the top. The lampstand also has seven lamps at the top with seven spouts for each of  the lamps.

I asked him, “What are the two olive trees on the right and left of the lampstand? ”

and said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof

Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

And he said to me, “What do you see?” So I said, “I am looking, and there is a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, and on the stand seven lamps with seven pipes to the seven lamps.

Then I answered and said to him, “What are these two olive trees—at the right of the lampstand and at its left?”

He said, “What do you see?” I answered, “I see a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top. Seven lamps, each with seven spouts, are set on the bowl. And there are two olive trees, one on either side of the bowl.”

“And the two olive trees on either side of the lampstand?” I asked. “What’s the meaning of them? And while you’re at it, the two branches of the olive trees that feed oil to the lamps—what do they mean?”

And he said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold with its bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it with seven spouts belonging to each of the lamps which are on the top of it

Then I said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right of the lampstand and on its left?”

He said to me, “What do you see?” I said, “I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold, with its bowl [for oil] on the top of it and its seven lamps on it with seven spouts belonging to each of the lamps which are on the top of it. [Matt 5:14, 16; Luke 12:35; Phil 2:15; Rev 1:20]

Then I said to him [who was speaking with me], “What are these two olive trees on the right side of the lampstand and on its left?”

He asked me, “What do you see?” I replied, “I see a menorah of pure gold with a receptacle at the top and seven lamps, with fourteen pipes going to the lamps.

Next I asked the messenger, “What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the menorah?”
