“The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes anymore

“Rejoice over her, you heavens! Rejoice, you people of God! Rejoice, apostles and prophets! For God has judged her with the judgment she imposed on you.”

And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn for her, since no one buys their cargo anymore

Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given judgment for you against her!”

The merchants of the world will weep and mourn for her, for there is no one left to buy their goods.

Rejoice over her fate, O heaven and people of God and apostles and prophets! For at last God has judged her for your sakes.

The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, because no one buys their cargo any longer 

Rejoice over her, heaven, and you saints, apostles, and prophets,  because God has pronounced on her the judgment  she passed on you!

And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more

Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

“And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore

“Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”

“The traders will cry and carry on because the bottom dropped out of business, no more market for their goods: gold, silver, precious gems, pearls; fabrics of fine linen, purple, silk, scarlet; perfumed wood and vessels of ivory, precious woods, bronze, iron, and marble; cinnamon and spice, incense, myrrh, and frankincense; wine and oil, flour and wheat; cattle, sheep, horses, and chariots. And slaves—their terrible traffic in human lives. Everything you’ve lived for, gone! All delicate and delectable luxury, lost! Not a scrap, not a thread to be found! “The traders who made millions off her kept their distance for fear of getting burned, and cried and carried on all the more: Doom, doom, the great city doomed! Dressed in the latest fashions, adorned with the finest jewels, in one hour such wealth wiped out!

“O Heaven, celebrate! And join in, saints, apostles, and prophets! God has judged her; every wrong you suffered from her has been judged.”

“And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, because no one buys their cargo any more

Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, because God has pronounced judgment for you against her.”

“And merchants of the earth will weep and grieve over her, because no one buys their cargo (goods, merchandise) anymore— [Ezek 27:36]

Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints (God’s people) and apostles and prophets [who were martyred], because God has executed vengeance for you [through righteous judgment] upon her.” [Is 44:23; Jer 51:48, 49]

Then the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn for her because no one buys their cargo any longer
